As with any location where you want to know when baggage check-in opens, in the App or BA.com go to Manage My Booking, select the flight line, you will then see several lines of information, click on Check-in, pad down to Other Ways to Check-in and the information is usually there. As a default on longhaul assume 3 hours, on shorthaul 2 hours.

I would assume it's going to be 3 hours before departure, at most it would be 3 hrs 30 minutes. It is 3 hours for CHS, which has a similar capacity and aircraft configuration to PIT. PIT has a transit system from the main building to the concourses, but that apart it's a fairly compact arrangement. The deadline for checked bags is 1 hour.
