In comparison to being in row 19 in a middle seat and no hope of getting food or drink as the trolley won’t make it that far but if it does it will probably just be Percy pigs left that you have buy and when your wallet is up in the overhead lockers a few rows away and your fellow neighbouring passenger won’t let you out to get the wallet, then yes I’d say CE is luxury!

I have paid less than £79 for hotel rooms in several countries where I got upgraded to luxurious suites, most recently in Luxembourg of all places.

I flew on Brussels airlines recently from EDI-BRU and I was amazed by the legroom. Even commented that I try to book row 1 or exit on BA because the legroom is poor. I was really impressed by Brussels.

Sounds like the start of a Monty Python sketch.

'"You call that bad? I were strapped t'wing"

Perhaps there will be Chateau de Chasselas served in CE...

I'm not sure if they are carrots, or miniature dehydrated salmon fillets.

Not something I'd relish but my wife who isn't on any sort of diet will often just have a plate of steamed veg for her meal....sweet potato, squash etc. So she'd actually find that to her liking.

Yep, CW meal (old-style pre 2018 I think, and also a special meal?) so nothing to do with CE. I think the current CE catering is pretty good actually.

I fly a lot of Eurobusiness - too much for my own sanity - and think CE is competitive in the marketplace it finds itself in. The food offer is in the top 25% of any European carrier.

Sure it's not like travelling in Asia or the ME but it's often actually not a bad product for the money.
