BA NEW CLUB SUITE, WILL I GET IT?
What with the arrival of BA's biggest change in business class for some decades, this thread is intended to ask the inevitable question that I am sure many will want to know the answer to, something along the lines of "I am travelling on XX Jan 2036 from Heathrow to Sydney, will I get the new business class seat?"
Please do ask if you are not sure if your flight will fly the seat or not, its safe to say the more info you provide the more accurate the answer will be.
Aircraft involved: A350-1000XWB (also known as A351 and A350-1000), B787-10 (also known as B781) and a limited number of B777-200ER (B772).

FAQ : BA Club Suite tracker : (When) Will I get the new CS seat on my flight?
Hello,
I thought I would start this thread and I'll add a wiki as I have sometime on hands at the moment.
As suggested in the general discussion about the new Club Suite, we are bound to get lots of "when or will I?" type queries about the new CS, so I thought I would start this thread for it.
Heres what we know so far:
Roll out (there 3 phases for roll out of the seat):
Phase 1:

Roll out (there 3 phases for roll out of the seat):
Phase 1:
- The first aircraft to have the seat will be the Airbus A350 - being delivered summer 2019 (currently planned for July delivery)
- Short haul flights between LHR - MAD (unconfirmed dates or flights until delivery date is given by Airbus, 30 days prior)
- From Oct 2019 flights to Toronto (BA92/93) and Dubai (BA107/106)
- 3 more A350 (4 in total) to be delivered with the new CS.
- 2 x 777 will be refitted with the new CS
- Beginning in 2020 more of the long haul to be fitted with the new seat.

slightly off thread, but is the Toronto route on the 92/93?? I went through the booking process and the later flight says dreamliner and the earlier flight doesn't given an aircraft type
Thanks

I belive so. If says aircraft type not defined then it should be the A350
Regards
TBS
It does look excellent and look forward to trying it ( probably in 2020 depending on the 2020 rollout)

I can confirm it is the 92/93 flight numbers. Once the booking is made, the aircraft type is defined as 351 in MMB, with an appropriate seat plan.

Im just bumping this thread for those that will want to ask about the CS coming to their flight but also the info in wiki on this thread and in my first post may help and hopefully will be helpful to those want to know if they will get the all new CS.
I think will be helpful for all having a central place to ask the inevitable.
Happy flying.

This thread is a good step forward for the benefit for the forum, and thank you @rockflyertalk for starting it. Just one improvement would be to not just focus purely on which aircraft will have or not have the new Club Suite, since there are also many questions about which aircraft will be operating a poster's flight - for reasons such as wifi provision, which type of IFE, which version of WTP or even more odd if there is a specific livery on the outside. Could we make the scope of this good thread wider, in order to 'catch all' of these daily questions?

While having no knowledge of internal workings of BA I would say not until a lot more aircraft are fitted out. Reasoning being, look at the direct competition. Although you can get EK and other connecting options which people may rate better than BA, the only "direct routing" competition is QF where they use the A380 which does not have direct aisle access.
You also need to look at fleet utilisation, from memory it takes 3 frames to do the route. BA would get a better rate of return with the limited frames by using the on routes which only require a single frame to operate.
