BA NEW CLUB SUITE, WILL I GET IT?

What with the arrival of BA's biggest change in business class for some decades, this thread is intended to ask the inevitable question that I am sure many will want to know the answer to, something along the lines of "I am travelling on XX Jan 2036 from Heathrow to Sydney, will I get the new business class seat?"

Please do ask if you are not sure if your flight will fly the seat or not, its safe to say the more info you provide the more accurate the answer will be.

Aircraft involved: A350-1000XWB (also known as A351 and A350-1000), B787-10 (also known as B781) and a limited number of B777-200ER (B772).

Planned flights with the new Club Suites (information as of 16 December 2019):

The 777 refurb info there is very detailed. Anyone mind if I add that into this wiki? Info such as how many 777s have been refitted and when the next ones are due in is much more useful, especially once they enter rotations and you can't definitively tell the seat layout based on the aircraft (as you can today with A350-only).
OK by me to add it or can you provide the link to that thread?
I searched but could not find it.

Thanks for editing that @chris1979

Whilst like any core thread that helps a majority, I am completely happy with anyone wanting to edit or add relevant and very useful info to the wiki, that will help the general premise of the thread. In this case will get the CS on my flight?!

The 777 refurb thread is far more detailed because it’s very useful for that aircraft type. I think with the CS it will span most of the longhaul fleet (bar the 747), so I personally would be hesitant that this doesn’t become a copy of that refurb thread and cause confusion or grey areas. I’m happy to be challenged on that but as we can see from the new A350, the threads starts piling up and people aren’t always sure where to post.

I’d like to be as simple as a central place to ask the question, rather than a central place that confines itself to a wiki. It also can promote inclusion and get the lurkers talking or participating instead of just referring to a wiki that might not always be accurate.

What are people’s thoughts on this?

Makes sense.

For me, the more interesting question is not "When will I get the seat on my flight?", but rather, "What is the progress of the Club Suite rollout?"
This thread is helpful on a route number basis. I was hoping it could also be useful on a aircraft by aircraft basis across the fleet - exactly as the Wifi soft-launch thread is.

The wifi thread was what was in my mind as I made the suggestion. Once we have partial rollout across an aircraft type (777s first, presumably followed by A380s and then 787s later), knowing, say, 6 of 12 A380s have Club Suite is more useful, since a given route will be hit and miss.
I recall the New First tracking threads worked similarly.

BLR A350 Jan 2020 at risk?

A total of 4 routes will have the new Club Suite (as of May 19).
In another A350 thread a pax said he had spoken to a 350 pilot who said lack of A350 trained pilots meant that deferring Jan BLR introduction was being discussed within BA.
Does any insider have any more info pls (am booked Jan 13th) ?

Is anyone booked on one of the initial 777 Club Suite flights over the coming months? Would be good to hear what it's like especially in terms of which seats look like the best picks. I'm excited to be booked on the Club Suite 777 on BOS-LHR next February and definitely want to hold off reserving my seat until there is some feedback from others.

FYI according to a member of the design team, the club suite on the 777s will have slightly more space as the side console is going to be increasing in width to offer more space for passengers

Also only tangentially Club Suite-related but seems like a sensible enough place to ask - do we have any further idea what F on the Club Suite-equipped 777 will look like, is this confirmed as just current 777 F with all but the first two rows of seats ripped out?

Not sure if it's already been noticed, but google flights now appears to indicate where a flight has the new Club Suite. Maybe it's been like this for ages and I just haven't noticed until now!

Interesting you're seeing the CS on flights from BOS already, for Feb no less. I have a flight this coming April which still shows the existing J seat.
Actually upgraded to F using Avios. If my flight gets switched to the new suite, should I/can I downgrade? What's better the new suite or the F seat from the 787?
After looking at pictures, there doesn't seem to be much difference.
