Any idea of what percentage of BA customer have gold status?
Just wondering idly if BA themselves publish how many they have in each tier (say, perhaps, to other OW airlines)? What percentage on any given flight would have gold status I wonder?

There's a difference between
- the proportion of discrete individuals who are gold
- the proportion of overall passenger numbers carried that are gold
Gold's travel more than a normal passenger so they make a disproportionate impact on the passenger numbers

definitely not, it would take too long. But it did make me think that seeing as my status year has just recently renewed, I should amuse myself by doing a study. So far I'm 0 welcomes on 2 flights.

I came back from ATH once and found that there were less than 10 people in Group 4 and 5. The plane was full... Definitely very route dependent.
