Super fascinating.
What does "Tier 2" mean?
Are the WT wines "Tier 4?"

My thoughts exactly. And not even one of the Private Bin options (which I actually quite like).

My overall (admittedly entirely subjective) feeling is that there’s been a real drop off in quality in the F wines over the past 2-3 years. There’s still some interesting stuff, but there’s a lot more lower quality stuff in the mix, too.

I should have asked! Doh! I sat there thinking “hey - I’m Tier #1 material baby!”

I’ll send an brand new unused BA sleeper suit and a nice warm pen to the first person with the right answer!

Mikeijay, did you ask if CC training (obviously not when flying ) allows tasting of the wines?

Haha I did actually they said that they do have days when they taste the wine to make recommendations.

They are also allowed to buy WT+ bottles of wine at £1 each!! However not CW or First sadly.

I often sit in 1K and have to watch in horror as they pour it down the sink at the end of the flight. Once I winced loudly and the next thing I know one of the CC gave me 3 bottles of open red wine (with plastic stoppers) that only had a glass taken from them and also a full bottle of my favourite red of the day in duty free bag! They can get into a lot of trouble of that if the CSD sees though (shhhh) hehe

I was clanking and stumbling through customs at LHR with the biggest smile on my face!!

What a kind gesture from the CC. Nice to know that the CC get more than just paper information. I had hoped that would be the case. Cheers.

So when the CC put the F spirits into their own luggage- is that allowed?
