Earn avios from BoB?

No you can't earn Avios for BOB, when we process a payment for M&S On board, we don't get the pop up to add your exec club details which we get when putting through a High Life Shop purchase.

Travelling on a redemption booking
Accrual to another FF scheme
Travelling on non-earning tickets (eg staff standby)

There's a few scenarios where earning avios to prevent your account for expiring might be useful.

A partners or friends account may be about to lapse. A quick purchase on their behalf might allow their account to remain active.

Shorthaul is an iPad with terminal that accepts contactless. Longhual is a 1980s beast that doesn't do much at all.

I’ve wondered in the past why you shouldn’t get Avios when paying for extra luggage (not that I have for a long time).
