Tier Point Calculation

I am flying the following early next year:
BA Club Europe - ABZ - LHR - Booking Class I
MH Business - LHR - KUL - Booking Class Z
MH Business - KUL - BKK - Booking Class D
MH Business - BKK - KUL - Booking Class D
MH Business - KUL - LHR - Booking Class Z
BA Club Europe - LHR - ABZ - Booking Class I

My booking details on BA show total tier points earned for the return journey as 480. However, my calculation per the Flyertalk Wiki is 2 x 40 tier points for the BA I class sectors and 4 times 125 tier points for the Z and D MH sectors totalling 580 tier points. The Z and D class sectors suggest the points award is for long haul and of course the D class sector is not long haul being just over 2 hours in duration. However I cannot see any other allocation of tier points for D class flights other than a minimum of 125 points per sector. Is this where the difference is and if so can anyone point out where this is documented in the WIKI.

Many thanks.

I don’t believe any flights earn 125TPs. I suspect you are looking at the tier bonus for avios earning.

More info in post 5, section 6 on the guide.

I am not sure where you got the 125 tier points from - KUL to LHR (and reverse) is 160 TPs, so you have (40 + 160 + 40) X 2 = 480.

As others have noted, it appears you looking at the avios earning bonus:

For tier points you need to look at part 06 of the post mentioned above by Madfish.
