Lloyds Bank Avios Rewards Upgrade Voucher - Two in a Year

Hi ,

New to the forum. I have the Lloyds Bank Avios Rewards credit card which i know will be closing and moving to the standard BA account fairly shortly.

I received an email from Avios today to state i had earned a flight upgrade voucher. I thought this a little odd as i had received one a few months back.

I logged into my account and can now see 2 upgrade vouchers in my account.

The T&C's seem to suggest i should only be able to get one a year.

Anyone know whats going on or had similar ?

Thanks

It's one per card year, not one per calendar year. Is it possible your year rolled over (and the £24 fee went out) in between the two?

I also have two vouchers, but I've only had the card for 11 months. I didn't get an email but my avios.com account is still open.

I spent over £14000 since opening the card.

I expect my second £24 fee to be charged in a few weeks.

I also had the email, having earned my first around 6 months ago... (still within first 12 months with the card)

I wondered if i had spent 14K, but just over 10K so can't be a reason.

I teetered over the edge of £7k only, and have in the last few days received a second voucher

Yup, got the same email and 2nd voucher. Definitely not normal as 2 vouchers issued in same policy year.

I too received this email today. I had assumed it was just a reminder that I had a voucher sitting in my account, but on checking, I too have two vouchers there now. I'm going to assume it is a mistake, but it may be an "apology" for the soon-to-be closing of the credit card...

Slightly OT, but how quick does the voucher appear in your account? My anniversary date was end of April and I've spent the 7k target as per then end of my last billing cycle mid last month but no voucher as yet. If it's based on calendar year I should have received a voucher months ago.

Received one today too, my last one was received in March. My annual fee is due in Nov, so that's two in the same year.

My card expires this month too. I'm told a new one was processed on the 21st Sep, nothing yet.
