Crew Member on BA 1391 today

I was walking down the airbridge at Manchester with an elderly lady in front of me. One of the crew saw she was struggling and lept out of the aircraft to help her with her bag, checked her boarding card and then lugged her bag to her seat. The charming elderly lady was terrified of putting someone out but the crew member was really chatty and put her at ease.

It was just a really good display of professionalism and cutesy irrespective of status or class of travel. I know it's oft said but the best part of BA is its crews.

Have just awarded my first ever golden ticket.

Nice to see.
Yes I agree, best part of BA is unquestionably the staff.

..Which does make it all the more worrying when they send out letters like they did to their HK staff. At what point will the staff stop caring? To have great and keen staff they have to love BA.
