Canadian: Will SEA check-in Recognize Visa On Arrival Permitted?

No replies, hoping a Canadian that's flown BA SEA-LHR-AUH can offer their experiences please.

Looking for assurance that BA check-in staff will recognize I am eligible for visa on arrival to AUH.

Thanks.

UAE? Never an issue.

Presumably you have a ticket to leave UAE and all of the other usual requirements.

Not sure why you’re concerned here. Visa on arrrival is the standard entry procedure for most Western tourists to the UAE including British and American citizens. I wouldn’t expect this to raise any eyebrows at all.

BA staff, just like other IATA carriers, access TIMATIC (through BA's interface). You can run your details through TIMATIC and see that you qualify. BA staff running those same details will achieve the same result, wherever they are located in the world.

Note that you don't have to go to a seperate desk to get the visa. Just join the normal immigration line and you'll get your passport stamped.
