Yesterday I had a not very good Thai Vegetable Green Curry with rice noodles. Flavours were not terrible, but it was overall poor. Dessert wasn’t loaded. It seems that now catering in CE on Cityflyer services is far worse than on LHR and LGW services. |
Does anyone have any idea/update on when BA CityFlyer may change to BOB and why it is taking so long to implement? BA Website still says coming soon.

Hi,
I suspect with the current cabin crew complement on BA Cityflyer ( 2 crew) it would be impossible /extremley hard to serve all the passengers in the time available on the shorter legs especially as one crew member needs to serve the club europe cabin first. I have not heard or seen any proposed start date announced. Regards TBS |

There's a theory about two posts up. Can't seem to link to it on my mobile. (User error!)

On some flights you might find that the usual Island Bakery shortbread rounds have been temporarily replaced with Walkers, due to a supply issue.

I flew LCY to EDI on Thursday @ 18:00. Only two of us in club (only 20 pax in total) and they had ONE meal - a cold pulled pork. It was horrific. The accompanying bread was also stale. Admittedly it was probably a cut down service, but it was the worst I’ve ever seen. At least I got two G&Ts..... |
This is a domestic (EDI-LCY) night stopped breakfast, so where the aircraft spent the night in EDI and therefore the catering was loaded the previous day in LCY. In addition there is a bread basket - where toast is an offering unique to BACF - and I think on longer servicers there would be a yoghurt or muesli pot as well.

CE breakfast ex-LCY, Band 3. The main plate doesn't look great, but tasted ok (no more than that, LHR CE breakfasts are better IMO). Bread/pastries and waffles (to go with the golden syrup) were also available. https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...e9cbcbe959.jpg CE lunch, band 3, Jan 2019. Cold beef salad. Was quite tasty, though disappointing not to see even a hint of pink in the beef. |

Warm and tasty |
On my return flight from EDI to LCY the FA came to tell me that my LCML hadn’t been loaded. The FA was very apologetic and suggested having the beef salad instead. It was very tasty. I haven’t added a photo as there are several of this meal already in the thread. |
