On board cricket

Whilst my view from 62K does make me wonder whether you could have a fun game of indoor cricket on the upper deck, I actually have another question. I payed for the onboard streaming (£23.99 I think) so that I could listen to Cook's last match on Test Match Special. Sadly, both the 5 Live and R4 LW websites restrict access from my current location. I've considered asking to move to 1K to see if that is a more acceptable location but I wonder if anyone has any other ideas? Cricinfo says he is on 27 at the moment and I don't wish to tempt fate but I'd love to listen to a big innings from one of England's finest...

Help!!!!!

It's not restricted unless they're broadcasting sport.

That's still sold to different regions. I can't listen to TMS in Paris let alone at 37,000 feet.

get a VPN. You can be "in the UK" wherever you may be.

If you use Chrome install an extension called "Hola" it's a simple VPN which is free and works for me

For a moment I thought onboard cricket was a new version of the pub cricket we used to play as kids when travelling on a long car journey.

Anyone else remember that?

Not many pubs up here although the booze is flowing...
Time to invent a new game?

For listeners outside of the UK, there is a separate stream made available on youtube:

Use a VPN if you have one?

If you are using a corporate laptop with remote access then you probably already have one. Log into your corporate network and voila! It will look to the BBC like you are in the office...

Is that Youtube stream a regular thing? I have often tried and failed to find a TMS stream when travelling.
