Challenging. I looked on through work (costing me another £5 to get my token on my phone) but when I try to log in to BBC the connection page is unavailable.
The youtube link is blocked both directly from the air and also via VPN
Just trying to download Hola.
Here's lunch (at the Oval) to give some breathing space

Try ExpressVPN, cost less than 10$/month and has a 30 days trial. They have gateways in all major countries and I never had a problem getting around any location content blocking using it.
https://www.expressvpn.com/
Happily paying for it since they offer great connectivity and speed, good customer service and support and if you choose to 100% anonymity.

Not sure how they know, but some sites do. I frequently use VPN while in Israel. More and more American sites tell me to turn off the VPN.
Especially frustrating since my cable TV provider falls into this category. They used to let me suspend service. No longer, so I'll paying with zero access.
Did you find a satisfactory workaround?

Hola was involved in some particularly dodgy business practices a few years ago, including running a Tor exit node on your computer (if you don't know what that means, you're not the kind of person who should be running a Tor node). It's likely that they're still doing some or even all of those things.
Even if you're not doing anything particularly sensitive, I would at the very least recommend paying for a VPN (they're normally around $5/month).
