Check in for BA flight when booked via Finnair

Check in for BA flight when booked via Finnair
Hi,
I have an upcoming trip that is booked via Finnair.com to get the flight pairings i wanted.
The flights are BA-JAL-BA-BA, and the booking shows up on ba.com and the app and i can pay to reserve seats and enter API and such. .
As you all know, BA has a check in time of 24hrs while Finnair has a check in time of 36hrs.
Will i be able to check in via the BA app/ba.com at T-36 and select seats or would i need to go through Finnair?
