BA J LHR-DXB Overnight

Hi,
I will be on the overnight LHR-DXB-LHR flights in October. What are the meals like on these flights? Is it a full dinner service? Is it an express service to maximize sleep? I am assume both flights offer a hot breakfast prior to landing since it will be morning in each respective destination, right?
Thank you all!

Hi, it is usually a full meal service on the evening (overnight) flights from London to Dubai. A full breakfast menu selection is offered prior to landing.

Dubai to Heathrow at 1am is a sleeper service. Express dinner.. But full breakfast.

Full dinner with the express option of having the starter, cheese and dessert all served together.
Breakfast is continental type with a choice of a spicy lamb and potato wrap or a filled mini vegetarian pita.

Given the timing of the return flight (DXB-LHR) the general advice is to eat before heading to the airport.

You may want to eat in the lounge and maximise sleep on this flight.

Food isn't that great at the lounge and it gets busy.
Best option is to eat before heading to the airport. Sleep on the plane all the way and then have breakfast in the arrivals lounge.

if you have a Priority Pass or similar, there is a generic Business Class lounge that you can use - and has better food. You can also use the Skyteam lounge I think.
