It's working for me on all of the few UK-US searches I've done (not LAX) but the AA options are usually so much cheaper that even with the discount BA is relatively poor value.

I’d say entertainment value has been high this World Cup, but the standard of football on offer has been the poorest I can remember (England actually exemplify this: Panama aside, they scored only 1 goal from open play in matches against the not-so-great Tunisia, Belgium B, Colombia and Sweden - and still came close to making the final! And even 2 of the goals against Panama were penalties).
I have fond fond memories of Italia 90, but it was my first so that probably explains it. To this day I want to be Roger Milla when I grow up!
I agree re England though, they got beaten by the first decent team they faced. I don’t agree with the rest, the tournament as a whole has been fantastic, with some great football, truly great goals and other drama and only a single 0-0. I suspect your lense on it may have otherwise been smeared by idiots lashing ale as England score a header against Sweden!
Easilly the best since 06 and probably better than that, certainly streets ahead of 2010 and 2014 which were dire

For me the dross games have outnumbered the good ones by around 4 to 1 which is pretty much par for the course in the 15 or so World Cups I've watched. I'm optimistic that the final will be worth watching but this tournament has lacked those couple of really dramatic high class live-in-the-memory matches most of the others have provided.
