As I have previously noted, a few years ago, a large black tarantula crawled across the duvet covering my chest on a LHR-SEA flight, in First.

I fear Mrs CLAM would kill us all by opening the door at FL350 to get away from that bad boy. She's the only woman I know who will, quite literally, pull the wardrobe out looking for a spider at 4 in the morning( we once had to replace the extra wardrobe because she tipped the thing over!) before kicking me till I wake up so I can kill it. My race to Silver would also be wasted as she would refuse to board another BA flight for the rest of her life.
