Availability Alerts

Is there a way j can set up an alert specifically for awards seats?

I have a a trip through SIN and HKG over Christmas in J and would grab the chance of an Avios F upgrade if it became available but Im not up for checking daily to see is anything pops up (appreciate its unlikely give. the season).

It never ceases to amaze me what we can learn here at Flyertalk. I had never read about this before so Thank You!

I'm curious - who runs this site? How do they derive their information?

The site was set up by an independent developer, and uses the same API that Apple devices use to access availability. It is fast and quite accurate. There is some info on the back ground on the site. Enjoy!

That's pretty much what the Awards & Upgrades menu option on the left is for, aye.

You could write your own script, but itd require skills, time and effort, which is I guess why there are paying services like ExpertFlyer.

I would pay. Its money well spent in case seats become available.

Got an notification from ExpertFlyer this morning for a flight to DEN next year and called BA straight away to upgrade from J to F for 22,500 Avios per person.

Less than two months ago the same happened for a flight to CPT later in the year.

ExpertFlyer is proving to be worth the money once more!
