I’ve had push ins at the xray and the boarding pass scanner at the First wing. Frankly I find the self-entitlement behaviour bizarre, particularly with not the slightest attempt at excusing themselves or any eye contact.
On the xray incident, I still beat ‘em, and made sure they knew it, in a subtle manner.

Of course, on no occasion were they actually late for anything, just over-entitled.

What a fantastically pro-active agent that was. As your BP gets scanned on their system it takes a second or two for their screen to refresh and s/he would then have noticed the B gate and boarding status, while you were negotiating the HAL scanners. In the circumstances it may have all been a bit of a rush, but if your recall their name it would seem to be a good time to use

I had an exceptionally good experience at MAN last Tuesday. It was lunchtime with almost no one at the Fast Track / Priority line and cheerful / chirpy staff. Mind you with a sample count of only 2 visits it's hardly the sort of thing to get excited over / draw unsubstantiated conclusions from

Id have gone up to her and said you clearly weren’t in that much of a rush to queue jump.

No need to apologise to anyone for being escorted by BA to make your flight. 35 minutes from BP scan to pushback at B Gates is certainly racy. Thanks for posting the background too as I’m probably guilty of assuming you were a Prem with a sense of entitlement.
Perhaps the lady who came after you and found time for breakfast in GF is on FT as well and then we could have complete closure 😀
I don’t think we are in printingandbreakfast territory with this thread just yet !

She was absolutely amazing!!! I was afraid she was coming back to tell me I had been offloaded... Unfortunately I did not catch her name, but she was the one on the right and the time was few minutes after 6am. If somebody knows/remember the name I will be happy to send in a thank you note!
OT but why do people still clog up the belt after the scanner to get dressed / repack etc instead of using the seat / table structure - it just causes even more delays - especially when they don't stack the trays!

No need for names. Just give as good a description of the events as you can - 'tall/short lady with blond/brown/pink hair on the right hand scanner at approx 6am' should be more than enough for BA to identify her.

I was the one escorted at 6am this morning and the only reason was simply bad time management skills (and a very unlucky Monday morning).
I scanned my BP literally 30 seconds before the offloading rule and I was about to get in line when the agent got back to me very worried as my flight was already boarding from the B gates and insisted in escorting me to the front of the line as I would have missed my flight otherwise. I was sincerely very embarrassed but I appreciated the gesture as the line was of at least 20 people as the Op mentioned.
I boarded on the final call and that little "push" probably saved me.
I'm pretty sure this kind of treatment could be enlisted as a reason why - almost - everyone here loves to fly BA.
I really apologise if that annoyed someone!!
