Reward Flights - Avios / Payment Options Question
How do you value Avios vs cash? For an upcoming reward flight, I'm presented with these options.
On the face of it, saving 6,000 Avios for £55 doesn't seem too bad. But maybe I'm wrong!
What do you people see as the best value for these bookings?

Generally people reckon about 1p per Avios with a bid/offer spread, and there is a comprehensive analysis (albeit still an opinion) here:

So what you are being offered looks OK to me and the decision depends on whether you have or might have a better use for the 6000 Avios.
