BA11 route 22 April
Just curious, last night's BA11 to SIN took an odd route. Instead of Denmark, Russia etc, it flew down through France and through Southern Europe. Any ideas why?

Seriously, my SQ flights have taken a similar route in the past. This may depend on traffic, weather and/or regional instabilities.

I think airlines are still avoiding flying over Crimea, so it's either the decidedly northerly track or the southerly one seen on 22 April. The most direct route is still considered inadvisable.
