Same day flight changes on holiday bookings?

Same day flight changes on holiday bookings?
Hello all. I am looking at booking a flight + car combo. When I look to book it all together, there is no mention on free same-day flight changes on the booking conditions. Just a £100 re-booking fee.
When looking at flight only, it is quite explicit that free same-day flight changes are allowed (subject to availability). But if you then add a car at the end, it reverts to the condition same conditions as the flight + car booking.
Is this an IT issue, or has anyone experience of changing this type of booking on the day?

Similar to when you book connecting flights. same day change is available on point to point tickets. booking as a holiday changes that
