Support trucks collide at LHR T5 - operator suffers fatal cardiac arrest

Sorry if already posted.

Heathrow worker fighting for life after serious accident at airport

I guess this is cleared up now, but could have knock on effects for the rest of today's schedule.

PS. The title of the article changed while posting - Hopefully the member of staff is able to make a swift and full recovery!

For context:

"A Heathrow Airport worker has been left fighting for his life after an accident which meant hundreds of passengers were evacuated from planes on the tarmac.

Emergency teams have been rushed to the scene after the incident which happened around 6am at Terminal 5.

Hundreds of people have been stuck on their planes, and many have complained of confusion and delays.

There was a crash between two vehicles on the airfield, injuring two members of staff."

Oh dear. The man has now died. How terribly sad.

"A man has died after two vehicles crashed on the tarmac at Heathrow Airport.

The Heathrow worker suffered a cardiac arrest when the two airport vehicles collided on a taxiway near Terminal 5 on Wednesday morning."

In view of any ongoing disruption having cleared, and the clearly now sensitive and tragic news that one of the operators died, at this stage we'll close the thread out of respect for his colleagues and relatives.
