Seriously, though I've seen a pic of him with a travel hacker so doing a TP run is not out if the question & the Sat 6.15pm from Lon to HEL was the cheapest day I found when investigating a TP run recently.

Does anyone know what the travel policy in the UK for senior officials? Eg, do certain ministers travel private for security reasons? Is it tied to the visit in question, or a general thing? What about senior civil servants?

Yes , some people know about the special travel arrangements for ministers... and of those people those that will be seeking to keep their jobs won’t be posting about the arrangements on a public web forum. :-)

When Gordon Brown was Chancellor of the Exchequer he flew bmi on a number of occasions LHR-EDI.

Andi Peters the children's presenter in the CCR tonight. I think someone saw him on a flight a couple of days back. He's heading to Dubai but in Club. That means he must be clocking upwards of 5,000 tier points every year. Hardcore traveller.
