For Gold, is also states same flight, not PNR.

"limited to maximum five additional guests travelling with you on the same flight"

They were pushing this at check-in and in the lounge at Gatters. The Flounge was reasonably quiet.

I'm not sure why they bothered to mention First Wing when it's only the check-in part of the Wing (rather than security) that can be used by the larger groups.

Only applies to GC, phew. Another advantage of Gold / OWE status at Heathrow.

GGLs can take 5 guests to GF so less of an issue but will still be busy I guess. Those, like my family (2x SCH and 1x GCH) traveling in J get to "enjoy" a rather packed GC.

Traveling through T3 last night to CPT, WAS proactively offered that I could get all on my booking inI to the lounge.

So me +9 into a very quiet GF, a really nice start to our holiday.
Followed by a particularly nice crew member looking after us

So to clarify, a GCH can take guests into a Club or First lounge.

Thank goodness it’s Helsinki and Budapest for me next week - won’t be going near those BA lounges!

Appears to be very relaxed and driven by lounge capacity.

I got no email either, but check-in proactively told us.

Also gave Easter eggs to all the children on our booking

So having not the got the email (or reading Flyertalk), you wouldn't have known about it if you hadn't checked in at a desk at the airport.
If I heard or read about it subsequently, having sat with the masses in T5 with my wife and 3 children because I was flying HBO, know the lounge rules and don't expect anything beyond them so don't embarrass the lounge staff or myself by asking, I'd be pretty annoyed.
I really don't understand how BA marketing works. I get loads of 'junk' emails from BA but they don't seem to be able to send me the occasional useful one?
