BA metal AY marketed - getting BA PNR & seat selection in J
I have an AY ticketed flight HEL-LHR-YYZ v.v. all on BA operated metal.
I tried using the AY Amadeus PNR in MMB to select seats etc, but it gives a message saying that one can not add any bookings that do not have a BA flight. The booking does have my BA Gold number in it (I can see that on checkmytrip).
Given AY already uses Amadeus, would there be a second separate BA Amadeus PNR to select seats etc? Or is there no way to do this till OLCI?

There has been a bug for over a year now between AY and BA regarding seat selection. There used to be seperate PNRs but now it is the same for both BA and AY.
For AY flights I usually use the chat function. For BA flights, I would assume you need to call to book seats.
