Discrepancy between BA and AA itinerary (Booking ref v Record Locator
I booked one of the recent £2k fares in First from Heathrow to Las Vegas via JFK and LAX over Thanksgiving.
I made the booking on AA.com and it also shows up in BA MMB. However on BA MMB it is missing the outbound LAX-LAS sector. Just that one sector. It is there on the return journey. Going back into AA.com shows everything as expected.
I’m not overly concerned and I’m assuming I may have to chase BA for the TPs for the missing sector.
Is it common for there to be a discrepancy between the two booking engines?

You booked on AA, so AA has the full record.
BA, as an airline operating part of your itinerary, has what it needs to know, and shows you that.
