You can access your digital BAEC card from the BA App while your phone is in offline mode. So no network or data connection required (I've tried this on both Android and Apple and it works just fine).

Couldn't you do a screen shot and save it as a photo to be whipped out as required? That's what I do in places like CMB, where security needs to sight your e-ticket before letting you in the terminal.
