Haha - I guess you got the same useless message on the BA app telling us it was delayed, but to report to the airport on time anyway - sent when we were all already on the aircraft!

Flew this on the Thursday before Easter. Quite chaotic at C gates! Long wait before boarding, even though they called you to the gate almost an hour before. Then BA staff announce Iberia have decreed 'NO HANG LUGGAGE' at all can be taken on board. Everything to be checked-in. They seemed to implement this for WT. I was in CE and they didn't take mine in the end.
Always a nice service though. They are slow to get started, but have 2 trolleys each aisle. Very pleasant. It's an oddity this as with all Iberia flights from T5, they are Operated by British Airways, but Iberia Metal. Just happened to me again the bank holiday just gone (on a regular A320 LHR>MAD) - My itinerary was with Iberia (075) ticket, LHR>MAD>ALC>MAD>LHR. BA generate a new booking just for the LHR>MAD>ALC bit, but then you can't check in with Iberia for the LHR>MAD leg, you have to use BA App (with 075 ticket), then you can't checking in the MAD>ALC on BA you have to go back to Iberia App. On the way back it's all in the Iberia App.
The tier/points never post on the LHD>MAD leg as I think the 075 confuses the BA IT. You have to request them manually. My Air Nostrum posted on the Sunday and Today respectively, and my return MAD>LHR will post tomorrow. I'll have to fill out the online missing avios form (which is broke for a month) to get my outward Leg credited.

As I hate the A320 I imagine I'll be on this flight at some point this year. Although I am still a bit scarred from last time out (outbound only - last return flight on the 340 was actually very good)

There would have been an actual fight if some dafty had started insisting cameras and laptops were to be checked in.
