Anyone got pics of historic BAEC cards?
I've had a search but couldn't find anything / wasn't using the right terms.
Is there a thread containing images of historic BAEC cards? I'd love to see how they have changed from year to year. do they actually change every year? or just "sometimes"? I think they are missing a trick not having the coat of arms on them these days. But personal taste and all that. Whats your fav? Thanks. |
Damn. I recall seeing some here not too long ago but can't find it either!
Edit: Found this after all, not sure if it helps. All links open ads as I'm on mobile right now. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/briti...rd-design.html http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/briti...9-picture.html |
I have a Blue card from 1997 in a drawer somewhere at home. Will see if I can find it and take a pic next time I'm there

Fab, I remember those, my mum and dad both had them in silver and at one point gold. I like them.
P.S. When did "bronze" come into play? |
November 2011, I believe.

This ugly thing is from the mid-2010s I think:

The original ones had the EC logo on them that was made up of three c's like this:

Absolutely you just need to find someone at Waterworld who can do it for you as that's where the piece is ;) It's on display there in an exhibition at the heritage centre. The picture is not from Archive.org like I thought and I'll have to replace it with a link to it as a result.
