Earning avios with LATAM on Y/N fare
Flown the first of several legs with LATAM on a Y/N fare and see no avios and no TPs credited to my BAEC ; listed as zero/zero on my recent transactions
Can anyone shed any light on this?
It was for a domestic flight Santiago to Punta Arenas

Agree with Brian on the Y flight, though LATAM posting is reputed to be slow (couple of weeks) and that certainly was my own experience--though otherwise I'm a big fan of LATAM. If the Y segment was one of the ones showing up as zero/zero on your BAEC Recent Transactions, well, that's just wrong.

I did book via the chilean site which may turn out to be the price I paid for getting a cheap fare
I am flying buisness to Easter Island on a cheap fare; will that also get zero?

I always have trouble with any paid Latam flights from posting any avios or tier points. They post as Zero which even harder to fix than not posting at all.
The strange thing is everytime I fly on a BA avios redemption I earn full tier points and avios for those flights with Latam

That's one of the lowest economy rates according the BA points calc. I think you might be confusing the economy/business cabins with the base/access/control/flex system that LATAM operates. Last year, I bought a Flex ticket (most expensive rate) but that was still only a Q class fare. The advantage came in the free changes and extra bags rather than the selling class as recognised by partner airlines.

FWIW, the ba.com table (with footnotes) for LAN is here: https://www.britishairways.com/en-gb...ing-avios.html. (Ignore the odd formatting; it's supposed to be a pop-up but it is possible to isolate the page's URL in this way.)
Ditto for TAM: https://www.britishairways.com/en-gb...ing-avios.html.
