Refund issue?

Thanks for all the input / suggestions.
I am definitely going back to the TA to challenge this. For a start, what they said about "BA charge the most expensive one-way" clearly can't be right as the JNB flight has an F cabin (so presumably the most expensive one-way is a F ticket).
Also interesting that the one-way ticket price found by Globaliser is close to £2300 so maybe the TA quoted the wrong figure (i.e. the one-way cost not the refund) when my secretary asked them to cancel the flight...

From memory - so treat with caution - AUP changes things
Now your total paid is 3277 + ??? (AUP cost)
When you cancelled, they deduct one-way J class - from what you paid, refund you the difference (if any)
As fully flexible CW LHR-JNB is ~5000 I would expect you to get no refund

I don't think AUP changes anything. The ticket is not reissued and the fare basis does not change. Either the TA is confused or they got wrong info from BA, but the OP should push their TA to talk to BA's trade desk to resolve this.
