[BA's] A350 first flight
Are there any clues as to when the first A350 flight might be next year and which route, could there be some short haul flights for pilot experience?

Unfortunately the best guess is it looks like BA won't be receiving their 350's until mid 2019 now.

It could be flightdeck rumours but a 747 crew I flew with a few months back said BA was trying to find a way out of the a350 order, I wouldn't blame them if the 777X can be as good as the dreamliner in fuel burn.

The A350 will be far lighter than the 77X (and 77W) though, so should be superior on shorter (hello North America) sectors. the 77X should really shine on very long flights where you want to haul a large payload (basically designed for the ME3).

I'd be surprised if BA don't take the A350s, heck I could even see the A359 in BA colours too.
