Seating Map weirdness
I'm on BA 92 tomorrow, YYZ to LHR.
I initially selected a seat (can't remember which now, but exit row) but when I happened to check back in I noted the seating plan had changed and my seat now had (undefined) written next to it. I assumed equipment change so I selected a new seat, now 26C.
Two days later I check back again and again have the (undefined) message and another seating plan - though oddly I can't scroll down. Looks like the 777-300 map, but its only showing as far as row 35, and I can't scroll further than that.
I get that the plane may have changed again but why can't I see the full map? IT glitch or are they very empty and trying to fit everyone into the forward cabin?
Seems to defeat the point of being able to select a seat as a Gold exec club member when the plane gets changed so much and the only way to keep up is to keep checking back in - looks like I have lost my exit row now!

You're right that it's a B77W at the moment (STBJ).
I'd put the display problems down to IT glitch which is quite common when the aircraft changes.

EF is showing the entire back cabin beyond row 35 is blocked (ah, Airprox beat me to it.). It's possible that the flight has really low capacity and they want you to sit in the front half of the plane. There's still some 6 business seats open, so maybe they bump you up.
Maybe call in and see if they can assign you a seat.

Thanks everyone! I ended up selecting 30D, but a little peeved I lost my exit row.
Sure there's another thread about BA, pricing and yield management but surprises me its so empty as fares were actually pretty high.

On check in the back of the plane has been opened. Not experienced only being able to select seats from part of a cabin before.

It was just a display issue glitch I believe, the rear cabin was still there, there were people allocated seats in it, and there were seats available for selection, you just couldn't see them.
