Don't think LHR had FLY back then but this really isn't something we should be wasting time on.

Looks like If the flight is over 4 hours and they can justify a "premium fare" it's allowed.

This has rebooted my memory- in the last 18 months, Jonathan Charles (ex BBC) in T3F, James Mates (ITN) in T5F and Jon Sopel (BBC) in CCR

Or that it just happened to be on the screen regardless of what Terminal the flight is from?

The lead-up to that scene clearly showed that the cab took him to T5.

Didier Drogba in T3 Galleries Club last Thursday morning. Hood up, cap on and tucked away towards the back of the lounge.

MickV Feb 1, 2017 7:41 am

Carl Frampton on the late flight back from Las Vegas on Monday night.

Kirsty Young in the CCR right now.

A veritable smorgasbord of celebs today. Just boarded the BA992 and Bryan Adams is across the aisle.

Mark Chapman BBC MOTD and 5 Live MAN-LHR yesterday. Thought the train might be quicker but every time I check the fares seem astronomic so perhaps saving the licence payer some money! BA fares seem a bargain by comparison but there is just all the faff of security - especially MAN T3 - and clearly depends where you live/are based. As ever, only a handful of us left via Domestic, most were connecting.

I got impression that DJ John B was an anorak as he goproing the flights and talking geeky to Ulterior Motive...

Haha yes. I got one of the new GoPros after Christmas to film some of my tour-life travels and that was the first trip with it so i was going a bit overboard with the youtuber-...... stuff hah.

I feel honoured to be included in this thread though - someone tipped me off on facebook as I only lurk on here occasionally.

Here's the video i made that weekend if anyone's interested - at least for the rave portion - doubt you need to see the travel-related parts - I felt like a complete n00b filming out of the window during take-off etc! :-)

Were you on the BA1389 by any chance!

T3 security was such a farce I tweeted all about it and sought out the BA Station Manager! Had an interesting chat with her and discovered a couple of surprising things.... BA don't pay anything for Fasttrack(sic) as they think it is so poor!
