Avios Availability DFW - CDG

Looking to book American Airlines in Biz from DFW - CDG using Avios on the 787-9 in mid January. BA is showing availability in economy but not Biz using avios but AA site is showing its available for 135K AA miles. Called BA but they dont see any availability in Biz. Any idea as to when these seats open up? Or a work around?

135K is AA's "last seat" award. You would need to see 57.5K for it to be saver availability that BA can probably see.

Except you don't ever want to book with Avios since BA will add surcharges on AA transatlantic flights when AA, AS and others won't through their own programmes...

With BA (and other AA partners) you can only book the milesaaver levels awards on AA flights. 135k sounds like an aanytime award that is only available to AAdvantage members using AAdvantage miles.

From the Guide:
•For American airline flights, go the AA.com to search for availability. Remember though, only MilesAAver seats can be booked with Avios. You can still check availability on ba.com but the BAEC tool isn't very good with connections, particularly in the USA, so it may be required to search leg by leg and then call up to combine the desired flight itinerary into a single booking.
