Lost property contact details?
Sorry for starting new thread
Just off the 872 T5 to KRK. Left my tablet in the magazine section on the back of the seat in front. [stupid boy, pike]
KRK airport baggage said it didn't come off the plane ( a lady came in and picked up her iPad, so it wasn't just me)
The plane turned around and is currently in the air back to Lhr.
What the best way to try to recover it?
Bag port looks like a 1-20 chance!? I have tweeted BA but nothing back yet.
Not a disaster since all on Cloud backup / sync, but annoying - and MS don't do anything like 'find my iPhone" for a Surface.
Thanks,

MS does have a "find my device" but I think you need to have turned it on.
Perhaps it would be worthwhile logging on at

Nivsy and CIHY were absolutely correct. Got an email yesterday in the lounge at Warsaw (with the SMALLEST wine glasses I've ever used - or maybe they were large vodka glasses? ) and i picked it up today when i followed the breadcrumbs to the LostProperty office at T3. The process worked very well and £20 to bagport, £20 to Samaritans later, i'm in a hotel at LHR with said machine and travelling to CDG in the morning. success!
Quick question tho' : what do they do with the very many laptops, phones and tablets that have not been collected withing 30 days? Do they get sold off?
Thanks all, wj.
PS If I knew how to create a signature, it would be " working towards my 1% of CIHY posts".

Tonight we relised we had left our 5yr olds Table on our return flight from MCO to LGW which arrived on Saturday.
So I emailed [email protected] at 8pm tonight, and received a phone call by 21:30 confirming they had found it!
By 21:40 I had a Royal Mail tracking number for its delivery back to me.
I had to bay £7 for delivery and £20 for overnight storage.
Not a bad deal for BA correcting my error.
