I was paged in the gate lounge at LHR today - thought I must have dropped my passport or something. Was just being told I could board with CK. No big deal, though did get to witness a bit of a DYKWIA moment on the airbridge when the guy ahead of me complained to the crew and ramp agent about being sent down the airbridge but not being allowed to board immediately. Hoping it helps with the tight connection I have in JFK!

Had a very good experience with AA in LAX 2 weeks ago. Coming up from SAN connecting to JFK my scheduled connection time was 40mins which is tight when transferring from the Eagle’s Nest to T4. As the door opened on the E175 a CK Agent was there asking for me by name before whisking me into a waiting SUV which dropped me at the T4 gate just as boarding started for my JFK flight (and I was reminded to board with CK members).
Upon arrival at LHR (via JFK staying with AA) there was an agent at the top of the airbridge with a sign waiting to take me to T5 - I wish BA acknowledged me like this on occasions

Surprisingly I had a BA ‘CK’ experience a couple of weeks ago flying LAX-LHR. Was paged in the Qantas lounge and then escorted to my seat by a BA staff member as a proper VIP (I am not!). All very friendly and sociable. Really enjoyed it but am still clueless as to why this happened.

Paged at the lounge in JFK on a domestic flight and told that due to the logistics of the gate they couldn't take me to the aircraft steps but would I like a little drive across the airfield in an SUV and then in the elevator up to the gate.

i have mentioned this previously because while a BA GGL, i have been SHOCKED at how AA has treated me from pre-boarding, cars at JFK and LAX to plane, ground staff finding me after i've boarded to personally welcome me and ask if i need anything...and generally superb treatment.
i never expect anything, but it is always a welcome treat.
a shock because before i moved to london, i WAS a CK in the last three years i was with AA before switching to BA and never was treated this way hahaha!

I've done a lot of US travel recently and getting this pretty consistently - though also most of the time a bit 'pointless'.
I am too shy / scared / fearful of social embarrassment to step forward when they call CK (given the BP doesn't say CK) but quite often, there's an agent standing next to the one scanning the BP saying 'Mr Chris1979, I've been looking for you, how is everything'. I've had a few other 'escorts' but not usually when they've added any value - certainly not last time I went from Eagle Nest at LAX to T4 (though I had plenty of time).
nice touch nonetheless and as said before, somewhat ironic that AA looks after BA pax better than BA does.....

Another CK boarding at PHX. I suspect I was reserve for this service as whilst waiting for my PHX to BOS flight someone else was paged by the CK greeter but when no one came forward I was paged and got the pre boarding service.

Yes, I am GGL and it was in First, so maybe that triggered this. Never had it anywhere else though.

On my own it might have been overkill but with the kids in tow it was helpful.

i guess wrong airport, LAX it is apparently. Sorry to hear about your troubles and hope you get some support. Sleeping at the gate sounds awful, booking a hotel nearby an option?
