Morning all,

Just achieved 1500 Tp's for the year but still says Silver. Is ths a glitch or have I not read the small print?

Thanks

It does take a day or two to process. If you have just hit the 1500 mark today it should show gold probably by tomorrow or Thursday at the latest.

If your TPs that took you to 1500 posted today, your status should update tomorrow.

I assume you've got the 4 flights on BA metal as well?

it takes a day or two to update - TPs post first, then status updates separately later; give it 24 hours, then try logging out and logging back into the app - you should see the background turn to gold and gold status come through then

as a separate glitch, it then takes another couple of days for it to post "gold obtained" as opposed to claiming you need to take another 4 BA metal flights...

all normal - cards should be with you in a week or two

welcome to Gold!

As I remember, it can take up to 3 days.

I had a Mon-Fri work trip. Sunday evening's flight took be to Silver, Monday it showed 6xx tier points. But it wasn't until Thursday that the status actually switched to Silver.

This was 3 years ago though. Maybe things move quicker. We'll see since a flight I took yesterday took me into gold. So, I'll race you! I think you have the lead since mine still shows 80 points needed.

This is going to sound snarky, but the answer must be yes or the OP wouldn't be silver. (And just to clarify, it's not four qualifying flights as silver, as the app may suggest).

Not entirely accurate. If silver was obtained in previous TP year, then this year 1500 points may have been achieved but not the 4 flight requirement.

Should I submit this statistic to the Guinness book of records?

Not to worry. Don't know his circumstances - he may have got to silver during his last TP year and then gone to, say the US, to take him from 0 to 1500TP in one go.

Added: Beaten to it whilst I was sidetracked
