I'm also pretty interested in this - leaning towards the early morning flight on the Saturday to either CDG or ORY, then back on the 1805 from CDG.
Where are people thinking of staying, or at least which part of town? For me, it's likely to be a straight choice between the Astor and the Hilton La Défense, though unless the main venue is out in the western suburbs it'll be the Astor. (Although the Hyatt Regency Porte Maillot looks like good value on BA Holidays - my parents stayed there about 16 years ago when it was the Concorde Lafayette, and the most 70s thing ever!)

I've just booked flights only. I rather like the look of the Mélia La Défense Skyline bar, and indeed the hotel in general. Not sure if it would be a bit pricy, and La Défense isn't exactly overflowing on a Saturday night.
L'Oiseau blanc has an aviation theme to it but that is definitely pricy (€25 a cocktail).

But La Defense is a bit far from Paris proper.

I guess this Do is going to be small and intimate.
GadgetGal is going to check out a restaurant (I recomended).
Now, ladies and gent, what would you like to do as in activities?
Museum treasure hunt?
Clubbing?
Jazz?
Sitting in a cafe and watching the world go by?
Ideas please.

I have to offer apologies Yahilwe, I can't make it after all so will remove my name from the wiki. I'm disappointed not to meet you all this time round, 'i'm sure it will be a good evening.

I don't mind any of those. I wouldn't have ever thought of the things you organised at the last Paris Do and they were all really enjoyable, so I am happy to let you decide based on your local knowledge.
