Smile Excellent experience calling customer services

I had to call customer services today because of an error in a booking which was totally my fault.

I was dreading the call: the last time I had to call customer services I spent an absurd amount of time talking to someone in India who somehow managed to delete the meal request from the booking in question despite the query having nothing to do with food (I am coeliac. The long haul flight the next day did not have anything for me to eat and the snacks in my handbag did not in any way make up for not having dinner and breakfast!)

Anyway: today I was sorted out quickly and my meal preferences remain intact. The person at the end of the phone was very helpful and sorted out my self inflicted mess and issued me a refund. The notification email arrived before I got off the phone and the whole thing took just 15 minutes, most of which was listening to the canned music.

And I am starting this thread as it is easy to start a thread about a bad experience, and I wanted to throw a little positivity into the mix
