Club Europe Airbus from LGW with no 1D/F?

I'm looking at a seat map for BA2798 LGW-SVQ on Jan. 22.
It shows 1A/C but no 1D/F.

Row 2 is the first row on the right hand side.

I didn't know there were any Airbus where row 2 was the first row.

Is that accurate?

These are the G-GATx series of A320's that BA have sourced second hand from various other carriers. They are slightly different from the normal BA 320 as they do not have the seats that you mention and do not have a bulkhead in front of 1A/1C. They also have no video screens.
I don't like them much, I trust BA's engineering implicitly but every time I step on one of these I just wonder what little secrets they may hold from their past.

2D&F are the best seats on that plane in my opinion

A last minute equipment change saw us move from 1DF to 7AC for a flight from RAK. Not happy.

Look on the bright side, you could have ended up with G-MEDK with no window next to 1F!

I was on one of these recently in 1A and they are a bit of a shock if you are sat in row 1 (though I can see why row 2 D & F is great)>

That first picture looks like row number 1 from an Easyjet A320.

Hardly a premium experience for CE customers.

It would almost be an idea on these aircraft for Club Europe passengers if priority boarding meant getting on board last after the economy passengers have boarded. It should not be too difficult to keep the overhead bins empty as economy boards. Then CE passengers can board and be seated without having the delights of all the other passengers and their luggage in their faces as passengers find their seats.
