Seat choice in First for Silver if only Row 1 remaining?
Dear all,
Ive been a long time forum user but just joined today to ask this question.
I am a SCH and I have booked a lovely 241 in First to GRU early next year (currently in 2A / 2K) and I was wondering what happens in the following scenario:
If all seats are taken in First except for 1A and 1K (im presuming no GCHs have taken row 1 in this example), and a silver member books the last 2 seats in First - will the silver member be allowed to choose 1A and 1K long before T-72 or will 1A / 1K still be blocked for the silver member all the way to T-72 even if they are the last pair of seats ?
Thank you in advance!
Armen

Seats in First may change regularly. While folks may book leisure trips a long way in advance, business trips are regularlly re-scheduled at the last minutes.
As such, seat that you see are taken can be released.

Thanks for all the info everyone!
The aircraft is a 744 - so I really want to try the 1A / 1K in the nose with my wife! If it was any other longhaul aircraft type I would not be looking to be sitting in row 1 with all the noise from the toilets, cupboards and galleys.
