Please confirm my qualification question
So timing of some work trips, along with vacation will mean I won't re-qualify for this year, but I think it may not matter. Hoping that others can confirm my understanding.
- My collection year ends 8 October; I will not hit the 600 TPs for Silver by then, barring a quick TP run.
- Card expiry ends 30 November.
- I will have a trip starting on 17 October that will net 360 TPs.
- I have another trip which BA says will net 360 TPs and ends by 25 November.
To my understanding, I will:
- Qualify for Silver after the second trip.
- Still have all my Silver benefits for both of the trips in October and November.
- My collection year ends 8 October; I will not hit the 600 TPs for Silver by then, barring a quick TP run.
- Card expiry ends 30 November.

Sounds like perfect timing to me. If you did the flights a little earlier they would be in this earning year, and secure Silver for next year. As it is you very quickly requalify for next year and the one following.

I did 2 for 1 Club to San Diego, and First back from Vancouver, and I've got this:
03-Apr-15 05-Apr-15 Ineligible flight - LONDON HEATHROW - SAN DIEGO (J/U)
BA273(Booking ref: XXXXX) 0 -
For the SAN flight, and this for the YVR:
20-Apr-15 22-Apr-15 VANCOUVER - LONDON HEATHROW (F/Z)
BA84(Booking ref: XXXXX) 0 -
Does that mean the second flight was qualifying?

Thanks all for the confirmation. I was pretty sure I had it right. As to the qualifying flights question, the two trips include 8 BA segments, so I'm good there.
