I think most people in F travel very quietly. Even couples travelling together tend to chat quite intimately, so I think it'd be quite hard for two passengers to visit a couple without creating quite a bit of additional noise. After all, if they can't chat together, what would be the purpose of the visit?
I'm generally in favour of live and let live, so perhaps a compromise is a quick (10 min?) visit at a convenient moment so your friends can see what F is like, but to leave socialising until you are all on the ground.
