Welcome to FT, JVV!

Sadly, I expect there will not be a budget...

When's the next BA open day?

Philco JNR wants to know when's the next BA open day. Admittedly she looks more interested in the choc-ice than Concorde!

Hello Philco,

Did you hear back from anyone in regards an open day event this year?

Does anyone know if there is anything planned for this year? Think another event is long over due now.

This would surely be a good year for BA to run another Open Day (BA100). Is there any news of one happening? I would love to attend

Fingers crossed, my kids and I loved the last one that we went to, even my wife enjoyed it and generally she won't indulge my love of airplanes.

This sounds great, though I rather suspect I wouldn't fulfil whatever hallowed criteria one would need to be offered a ticket! As we say up here, shy bairns get nowt... so if there is anyone with a spare +1, I would be very grateful!

Based on the last one in 2015 it wasn't clear what the criteria were for invites. It certainly didn't seem to relate to BAEC tiers, I didn't get an invite and neither did many other GGLs who were interested in going. I was lucky that a friend of mine won on the twitter competion (open to all) and could take me. I think the only noticeable factor was that most invites appeared to go to those with a registered address in the south east of England.
