Just been reliably informed by a very nice Customer Services chap in the T3 Flounge. These will be in the CCR only, First lounge will get JW Red, Club will have "basic" whisky.
I'm defecting to the CX First lounge!

given they have several levels between Blue and Red, this seems a little draconian. no?

Not sure that the CX F lounge in T3 is much better equipped?

Wow. My favourite part of the First lounge was the JW Blue. I don't drink much, but when I do it's got to be good and lots of it.
Come to think of it, I may be a contributing factor to their removing it... ;-)

I mentioned this suspicion in the CCR / Galleries First lounge changes speculation thread a week or two ago. I use the T3 Flounge quite a lot due to my frequent travel to BUD.
Along with the CE 30" seat pitch, this appears to be a race to the bottom.

JW Blue is hardly good value for a blended whisky, you can get a half decent single malt for the price they charge. Having seen with my own eyes the way some poison their whisky, I am not suprised they have enhanced it. Perhaps they should keep a bottle or two of something decent "behind the bar" for customers who promise to drink it properly.
