Access to 60K is via 61J. It is not like 63AK in that respect.

It also suffers from loo noise. I've certainly noticed this - the loud sound of the flush/vacuum empty permeates into the cabin, particularly that seat as your head is closest to it.

64A doesn't suffer light from the loo.

This *any* UD seat is better thinking isn't true. I ended up in 64B on one JFK-LHR night flight and really wish I'd chosen a lower deck window seat. Suffers from the most noise/light from both the loo and the galley. I would think twice about 60BJ and 64B (possibly 64J) depending on the journey.

I'd take any LD window over any UD aisle.

So would I to be honest as once you're in your little cubicle and the divider goes up it's great. On the High-J seats and if no UD seats were available 14A and K are very good seats but as alwyas on FT YMMV. They make for a rapid departure on arrival and I can live without a side bin if neeed be.

Regarding toilet noise, I tend to find that the loud ventilation in all wide body Boeing aircraft covers most toilet or any other noise. Meanwhile toilet traffic on the upper deck is light, with 2 lavs for 25 people maximum (including crew)

Hello eveyone,

I ll fly for the first time on BA in dec on the 747 and I am really excited about that. I can not select seats online but it's a glitch (AA booking). Anyway I saw on Exepert Flyer that all seats except one on the UD are available. I called BA and they told be I can not select seats on the UD as they are all blocked. Should I try again or Expert Flyer is not relevant ? (I am OWS)

Many Thanks

Hi everyone,
Any advice on the best seats on the upper deck for a couple for a day flight? I haven't been on the upper deck in a long time and never with a traveling companion.

63AB are the only ones currently allocated, which otherwise seem to get high marks.

I've read through this thread and can't decide between 63JK and 64JK. I should be able to squeeze out of 63K. Would 63J be better than 64J, since no one would step over him and it's further from toilets?

Thank you.

I would go for row 63, it´s further from the toilets and people don´t queue next to your seats if both toilets are occupied.

Thanks, traveling_far.
My traveling companion has now decided he'd rather have a window as well, so I'll let him have (my currently booked) 64K, and I'll squeeze out through 63K. We should be happy enough with that arrangement, I think...

Rows 11 and 12 are usually good for views, they both have a full compliment of windows.

Not sure whether the OP is on a 777-200 or 300 but row 12 on the 200 has a window blank as I once found out!

I was probably was thinking of the 77W. There is a window alignment guide in post #2 of this thread for both types.

That's what I thought you thought if that makes sense!

I just didn't want the OP to choose row 12.

777 48J CW seat advice please

I have searched the Forum and dashboard...... . Booked 777-200 from LGW to MRU, the better looking seats are gone. We don't mind being separated (but that's another thread), and would prefer not to step over some legs (oh for the UD). I am pretty happy with 1DG out, and have 2BD back. 5JK available both ways, and at first looked OK but didn't take due to galley and toilet proximity.
Have I done the right thing, or any other seats I should try for? Thanks.
