No -- but whatever we want/get should be served in an edible state.
In theory slow-cooked foods should cope well with being chilled and reheated, so this kind of offering is potentially a great deal better than dry and/or rubbery chunks of fish. But only if it's kept moist and the bread products are up to scratch.

Pulled Pork is not a first class meal, but it is possible to make a first class Pulled Pork sandwich. Not that BA or any airline has a chance in heck of doing that.
Still I look forward to trying it out. However I suspect I won't see this on the HKG or SIN run.

Has BA got an advisor from American Airlines by any chance? Maybe they're trialling this as an precursor to serving Dominos Pizza on board.
It will be interesting to see the first taste test between this and the pulled pork sandwich done by Eat. BA better have something that can compete, or this is really going to go flat.

BA to Add Pulled Pork Sandwich to First-Class Menu
Seeing as I mostly fly F to DXB now I won't ever be seeing this.
And good. It looks gross. And isn't F class food.
For instance. I had Chilean Sea Bass a few weeks ago coming back from NYC. Comparing that to this is a huge step backwards. It's just a sandwich after all.

Since there now is the LHR-AUS direct BA flight, (w/o F) I suggest flying over to TX and checking this out from La Barbeque in AUS..
Now if only BA plans on serving the pulled pork off of wax paper to preserve authenticity..

Excuse me everyone, I'm from North Carolina and I'd like to say on behalf of pulled pork that the picture sandwich does not represent us.

Which brings us to another point: there is no way that anybody, let alone BA, can come up with a version of a pulled pork sandwich that doesn't offend more pulled pork experts than it pleases.
Different versions for different destinations (and a variety of brisket and sausage options to complete the picture)?

They're not all too bad really
When we move to DXB I'm sure our loyalties will inevitably change.

Fast Food
What is it about BA premium class travel and fast food??
In the last year it has been fish and chips, burgers and now pulled pork.
To date I have only heard one good comment about the burger but nothing else. The picture of the sandwich looks totally vile.

I've not seen fish and chips in First. The burger on the bistro menu is fine, as burgers go. Nothing extraordinary but then again, it's a burger. The burger in First has been around, on and off, for years.
